What is a microdot?
Microdots technology was first used in WW1 and WW2 and utilised as a covert means of transferring information. In essence, text is “shrunk” onto a “Micro” Dot (1mm in size) and concealed on Postage Stamp, cigarette box or any other item.
The microdot is now a modern day “crime fighter” in the form of a vehicle security system.
15,000 microdots are applied to a vehicle, using a patented application device. The Microdot PIN number is linked, in a database, to the original VIN number of the vehicle. The original Chassis number or VIN is easily identified through the Recoveri International Database!

Information Technology Employed
The Recoveri workflow system submits fitment data in real-time and does not rely on Data Synchronisation which can delay data submissions by as much as a month.
The system is solutions-based which allows tailoring of data requirements for Motor Manufacturers and can integrate into the OEM manufacturing and sales systems!
Further to this, the OEM has secure access to the Recoveri International database in order to manage their microdot fitments as well as to draw any reports that may be required for day-to-day operations.
Law Enforcement Officers and Insurance Investigators, worldwide, now have access to our Interrogate app in order to verify Microdot PIN and VIN data!
