Recoveri North America is a private company established in 2016. 

The company aims to research and develop new innovative, superior asset tracking and identification technology that can help the recovery of stolen vehicles, business, and household assets. What makes microdots so effective? 

It is easily identifiable, easily/inexpensively harvested, and for Law Enforcement, free database access to confirm property ownership. Experienced persons can find, read, and check a microdot in the field and real time… usually taking under five minutes.

You do not hear that to identify an item, you need to have it taken back for testing, it will need to have specialized technicians/equipment utilized to process the evidence, or there is a need to wait for lab results.
