DoNotCopy | MacroTag is a proprietary label Algorithmically created with up to 5 levels, or layers, of security components that make each label unique.
The label Blueprint is housed in the secure Digital vault and cannot be replicated. Secure printing on tamper-proof label material prevents the label from being removed from the intended product or verified asset without being destroyed.
Our security labels are used to prove an asset's authenticity or information attached to an asset.
Examples are documents, pharma products, motor vehicle provenance, and anti-counterfeit.
A document, device or Asset is validated by scanning the MacroTag on the item to be validated.

The solution:
A powerful, non-corruptible solution has been launched and is called DoNotCopy | MacroTag Digital Certificate.
The following is an example of the 3 step approach.
Step 1 - Blank Number Plate Printed
- The authorised Department of Transport Number plate Manufacturer prints blank number plates for distribution to authorised number plate embossers.
- Each number plate blank is printed with a unique MacroTag linked to its encrypted Digital Certificate!
- The MacroTag remains "unfitted" until the vehicle registration number is originated and allocated by eNaTIS.
- The vehicle registration papers are created and printed at the motor vehicle licensing department and handed to the client to order the designated number plate from the embosser.options.
Step 2 - Blank Number Plate is Embossed and updated
- The authorised Number Plate Embosser orders the number plate blanks from the Manufacturer / Printer.
- The Number Plate Embosser receives the stock of "blanks".
- The client approaches the embosser with the vehicle registration papers and orders the number plate for their vehicle.
- The embosser validates the eNaTIS documents and Logs into his system.
- Vehicle details are captured along with the registration number to be embossed on the blank plate.
- The embosser scans the MacroTag and activates the MacroTag.
- The digital Certificate is updated and now live with the vehicle details.
Step 3 - Secure Digital Certificate created and vaulted
- A Public validation query can be performed by scanning the unique digital certificate (per number plate) using a standard mobile device camera.
- Number plates can never be duplicated; only one record can be fitted per blank, even if the blank is accidentally duplicated.
- The authorised embosser is the only entity that can fit the blanks under their controlled stock-holding received from the number plate manufacturer.
- The number plate manufacturer/printer and the embosser are approved with very strict requirements and are certified under the National Department of Transport and eNaTIS in South Africa.
- A full audit trail is created and archived for every digital certificate linked to the number plate (from Manufactured blanks to completed embossed registration plate). This allows for a comprehensive and indisputable "chain of evidence" for investigators and Law Enforcement agencies worldwide.
