MacroTag Digital Certificates

DoNotCopy MacroTag is a digital or print Solution with each label algorithmically created with up to 5 levels, or layers, of security components that make each label unique.

The label Blueprint is housed in the secure Digital vault and cannot be replicated. 

Our security labels are used to prove an asset's authenticity or information attached to an asset. Examples are documents, pharma products, motor vehicle provenance, and anti-counterfeit.

The solution is designed for digital imaging and printed label applications.

Each asset or item is allocated a digital certificate that references its unique identifier or serial number. In turn, each secure certificate is linked to a single proprietary scannable image to validate the authenticity of the serialised item. All asset categories are bespoke and tailored to the implementation of the solution.

Validity dates can also form part of the process, if so required.

Best practice dictates that authenticity is always certified at the point of creation and finalisation of an original document or certificate, whether online or system-based. The document's authentication is a digital certificate containing the document or certificate data linked to a quick query "MacroTag" which is attached to the secure document on creation. The solution is designed for printed and Digital documents.

Ensuring the authenticity of a vehicle's Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is paramount to maintaining vehicle integrity and operational security. The industry faces significant risks associated with vehicle cloning and rebirthing. These illicit activities result in substantial financial liabilities, costing the industry millions of dollars annually, through illegitimate parts servicing and warranty fulfilment. The original VIN is authenticated by scanning the unique MacroTag using any standard mobile device camera or barcode scanner. Instances of cloning are immediately identified when the VIN conflicts with the vehicle's registered VIN. As an additional Level of security, the Vehicle ECU (Electronic Control Unit) can be secured from tampering and validated by housing a copy of the original digital certificate blueprint within its software environment to protect the original VIN data.
